The Deadly Docwriter approach

Ruth just wrote a nice piece about The Deadly Docwriter Approach. Essentially, it illustrates how to develop a program backwards. This may sound daft at first, but is actually something many user interaction designers recommend: If you design how users should use your app first, and let that dictate the actual implementation, you're bound to get a better program in the end.
