I Love You - Toast

Tim Weber made a short but sweet (German) comment on the "I Love you"-printing toaster:

I mean, kudos for the concept, it's a novel idea. But it would probably cause sentimental sobbing fits in me: Imagine your breakfast offers you a friendly "I love you". It's happy that it can be there for you and expects you to offer the same deeply-felt affection. And what do you do? You say "Yup, me too.", smear it thickly with jell-o, and then sink your teeth into it and tear it to pieces until this small, happy, defenseless existence is no more.

That's just heartless.
