Learn C on the Mac is back!
Way back in the days of System 7, I used Dave Mark's book Learn C on the Macintosh to learn programming. I still consider it the best book for learning C out there, but haven't been able to recommend it to others since it only concerned itself with THINK C (and later CodeWarrior), while most beginners today will use xCode.
But now, Dave Mark has started a new company that is publishing the MacOS X Edition of Learn C on the Macintosh as an e-book. I haven't had the opportunity to read it yet, but if there's anything of the original book left, this will be recommended reading along with Aaron Hillegass's Cocoa Programming for MacOS X for everyone who wants to learn to program the Mac.
